This Winchester manufactured brass carrier block is for the model 1873 lever action rifle in 44-40 caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a tarnish, light dings and honest wear. The bottom flat of the carrier block does not have a caliber marking as this was understood to be in 44-40 caliber when unmarked. (file photos)
